Artist Bio
Shalashala is the artist name for the mostly self taught founder of the design space known as SSSYSTEMS out of Southern California. Although willing to design anything, by any means, currently Shalashala focuses on Sound Design, Sculpting, Painting, Stop Motion Animation, and Digital Artwork. So far, he has released 4 major sound projects with corresponding artwork and visuals with different forms of stop motion animation all as an individual person. With aims of integrating 3D animation into the common SSSYSTEMS creative pipeline in the near future, Shalashala prides himself on his adaptation to circumstance and making use of limited resources to make works of beauty while also being able to blend mediums if given the resources.
Shalashala’s goal as an artist is to encourage self expression through any means possible. To take the common household object and make magic with it. To show people whose families could not afford the moments throughout the day to dream that they deserve to dream just as much as any others. The transmutation of energy into art and the reciprocating magic that one procures is a process everyone should have the opportunity to explore and Shalashala wants to create a platform that encourages experimentation at all levels for all beings as a way for people to self explore.
